How to run a Berlin qualifier

  1. Pick an eligible, fast course inside the qualifying window — flat, cool and certified. Confirm it meets Berlin’s rules before you enter.
  2. Train for a margin. Use the race time predictor with a recent half marathon; you want a prediction comfortably under your standard.
  3. Pace evenly. Build a plan with the marathon pace calculator and print a pace band.
  4. Fuel and carb-load. Plan with the carb loading and race fueling calculators.
