Half marathons and other routes
Only New York accepts half-marathon times on their own, and only from NYRR half marathons. London uses half-marathon standards for runners whose qualifying marathon was the virtual MyWay event. Everywhere else needs a full marathon on a certified course. Most majors also offer ballots, charity places and tour-operator packages for runners without a qualifying time.
Plan your qualifier
Pick the target race, then work backwards: set a start date with the training start date calculator, check your fitness with the race time predictor, and pace the day with the marathon pace calculator.
