2027 is a two-day ‘Double TCS London Marathon’: men race on Saturday 24 April and women on Sunday 25 April 2027.

Marathon pace needed per km, by age group (men vs women)
Longer bars mean faster pace. Most runners who chase a standard aim a few minutes under it to allow for a bad day, a hot race or a fastest-first cut.

  2. Train for a margin. Use the race time predictor with a recent half marathon; you want a prediction comfortably under your standard.
  3. Pace evenly. Build a plan with the marathon pace calculator and print a pace band.
  4. Fuel and carb-load. Plan with the carb loading and race fueling calculators.
